The Digital Print Production Associate will be working at our exclusive Marquis client in New York, NY.

Digital Print Production Associates are heavily involved with clients and must provide a positive memorable customer experience.

Shift: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm or Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $19.50

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort and time stack customer requested work using a job production ticket and workflow
• Preparing digital files for print production
• Sort files using postal software to get best possible discounts for customer
• Setup and print mail merge letters based on customers specifications
• Interact with various departments and senior staff at a high level
• Provide excellent customer service and consultation skills.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time
• Provides proofs for customer approval and works throughout the process with each client
• Provides diligent quality control 100% of the time
• Work as a team to fulfill customer requests
• Report on production clicks and other related metrics
• Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years Experience running mail merge jobs with multiple fields and files
• 2+ years Experience working with Digital press printers similar to an Xerox Versant 180 and 1000
• 2+ years Experience setting up variable data print jobs
• 2+ years Experience with metallic inks and various high-end substrates
• 2+ years Experience producing and mounting color wide-format up to 48” wide.
• 2+ years Experience using imposition to setup files for print
• 2+ years Experience using a Fiery workstation, Free flow workflow or similar
• 2+ years Experience demonstrating strong ability to follow established processes and procedures
• 2+ years Experience troubleshooting machine issues.

Essential Functions:

• Experienced using the Microsoft Suite of products and Adobe software programs
• Familiar with file manipulation, imposition, and the ability to produce full bleed print jobs.
• Able to communicate effectively with various customer departments along with senior leadership to produce accurate output that meets and exceeds customer expectations
• Multitasking capabilities working on several machines and projects simultaneously.
• Thrives in busy work environment producing upwards of 125k/impressions monthly
• Works well under pressure and time constraints
• Has an eye for detail and producing high quality work
• The ability to work as a team completing complex projects and constantly checking output
• A strong work ethic and demonstrates maturity
